Summer Breakfast

(Breakfast is served from 8:30 until 11:00AM and is included with your stay.)

  • Fresh Herb Omelet with Farmhouse Cheddar and Toast
  • Sweet Water Breakfast: My version is a soft-cooked egg with toast soldiers, a little cheese, a little seasonal fruit and a slice or two of breakfast meat.  You can make up your own version if you'd prefer.
  • Muesli (Swiss style) which means rolled oats, fresh fruit, golden raisins, local yogurt and honey with walnuts on top...creamy delicious!
  • Old-fashioned Stove-top Rice Pudding served cold with rose petal confiture and slivered almonds or warm with raisins and honey.
  • Plain and Simple: Two Eggs with Toast
  • Pancakes with Seasonal Fruit and Maple Syrup
  • Blueberry Almond Granola with a pitcher of cream (okay, okay...or milk)
  • Cornmeal-crusted Fried Rabbit with Chive Buttermilk Biscuits and Scrambled Eggs (Sundays only)
  • Scones and Muffins
  • Croissant with Jam

Look for the Daily Special on the blackboard.
Coffee or tea is on the sideboard by 7am and is included with breakfast.
