Here are line-dried cotton sheets, glowing pre-revolutionary hardwood floors, aperitifs by the fireplace in the winter, iced tea, lemonade and Prosecco in the garden when the weather is mild, fresh mountain breezes in the summer (and yes, air-conditioned rooms for those few nights when the mercury rises above your comfort zone). There is wifi throughout the inn, but just out the back door walk up and over Baldwin Hill when you need to unplug. During your stay, enjoy homemade local food, eggs fresh from our backyard hens and the delicious artesian well water that inspired the name of our inn.
